1983 – 1990

With Andreas Ketzer, eldest son of Brigitte and Michael Ketzer, and technician in toolmaking since 1986, the 4th generation of toolmakers joined the company in 1983. Purchasing the first wire-erosion machine approximately at the same time involved wide-ranging developing opportunity in the field of stamping-bending technology.

Today, 5 ultra-modern wire-erosion machines are at disposal, a modern tool design and construction division could not do without. In 1986, a new multi-level production building was moved in. Thereby, the floor space was provided to implement further and bigger stamping-bending machines. By applying the first Bihler stamping machine, JPF was able to meet increased customer requirements for complex stamping components and assemblies. These days, most multi-faceted customer requirements are being processed on a total number of 60 production machines.

Upon request and among other, stamping-bending parts are stored, endless-winded on reels, fitted with rivets or threads during the production process, and much more. In 1989, Dominic Ketzer, the youngest technician in toolmaking and family member, joined the company. Business organisation is shared, from now on, Dominic Ketzer is in charge of the internal management, Andreas Ketzer for project development and marketing. This enables active operating in the markets. Herefrom also derives a new alliance with an American partner based in Detroit/Michigan, for the purpose of dealing with customer global projects, primarily positioned in the automotive industry.
